HOW TO USE TWILIGHT LED CONNECTORS
Two generations of Twilight connector are in circulation. The videos below cover both — worth a minute before you wire your first run.
GEN2
How to connect Twilight LED tape using the Gen2 connector (current version).
GEN1
The same job as the earlier Gen1 connector.
All LED tape loses a little voltage along its length — on long runs it shows up as the far end running slightly dimmer than the end nearest the driver. Twilight tape is efficient, so most installations are fine wired conventionally. On particularly long runs, the two configurations below keep brightness even across the whole run.
REDUCING VOLT DROP
RING CIRCUIT:-
Feed the run from both ends: run a second pair of wires from the driver to the far end of the tape, so no part of the run is far from power.
